What is social entrepreneurship?

Global Innovation Exchange (GIE) is a global development tech platform for innovations, funding and insights. GIE’s mission is to utilize this information to serve as a reliable fundraising resource for social entrepreneurs in LMICs, as well as a source of credible innovation data for the international development community. 

Global Innovation Exchange (GIE) ever-growing database includes:

  1. 8,000+ innovations, out of which 2,800+ have at least 1 verified funder 
  2. A funder directory of 100s of organizations with over $1B USD of deals documented
  3. USD $300M+ in cumulative funding across sectors and geographies 

GIE is supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Australian Department of Foreign Assistance and Trade (Australian Aid), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and managed by Results for Development.
