Uncorrected vision impairment is one of the biggest global health crises impacting the lives of over 2.5 billion people. Of those, over 500 million only need a pair of glasses to see clearly again but don't have access to or can't afford them.
Poor vision impacts all areas of people's lives, including the ability to work which affects their economic status and quality of life – for them and their families. This does not have to be the case. The answer lies in a 700-year-old invention – a simple pair of glasses. Since 2003, RestoringVision has been working to solve this problem by developing the most efficient distribution network of glasses to people living in some of the most remote impoverished communities around the world.

New Feature | RestoringVision is also concerned about eye health and care in particular for rural communities in higher altitudes where over exposure to ultra-violet can damage one's vision. Through a simple pair of sunglasses, we are able to help people take care of their eyes. |
