The critical factor to end the AIDS epidemic that remain are to identify PLHIV and then to put them on treatment with successful viral suppression. In the 1.2 Million people receiving free medication in India there is approximately 15% of individuals who for many reasons stop treatment and among them there are 17,000 plus that opt out. Through this initiative we would like to bring this substantial number of PLHIV back into the treatment cascade by providing them three clear choices, Affordable medicines, Care and Support services including linkages to health services via the care and support centres & navigation and access back to free medication via the Government Services if required. VIHAAN is the best examples of public –private partnership towards a common cause.
