ICT for EMTCT is an innovative approach leveraging mobile messaging and voice call follow ups to facilitate retention in care for HIV positive women, pregnant women and mothers in selected markets in Kampala until their babies make 2 years.

Stage 4: Transition to Scale

The idea was conceived and a concept paper drafted. The pilot was conducted in selected regional markets, however, huge gaps still exist particularly in highly populated regions with high burden of HIV. This presents need for scaling up.
